2024-25 KBA League Rules Changes
- (4) 10-minute quarters will be used this year.
- Running clock except the last 1 minute of the first half and the last 2 minutes of the game
- Each team will get (3) timeouts for the game. 1 additional time out will be granted for each overtime period.
- Overtime quarters will be 2 minutes with a stop and go clock.
- (2) bonus foul shots will be awarded starting with the 5th team foul in a quarter. Team fouls will reset each quarter. Overtime is a continuation of the 4th quarter, so team fouls carry over to any overtime periods.
*This is a rule change that's new for OHSAA high school games this year, so we are following suit.
|
*These are the rules from 2022-23 and will be updated soon to reflect the changes above.

Anderson Hills Kiwanis and Turpin Key Club sponsored a contest to develop a new logo for the basketball program. Several high school students submitted impressive original works for consideration. Two designs were chose as the winner and runner-up. Thank you to Connor Morgan (11th grade) for her runner-up design. The winning design was by Chrissy Ciampone (11th grade). Thank you to all who submitted a design.

Anderson Hills Kiwanis, administrators of the well-known Kiwanis Basketball Association (KBA) leagues for boys grades 7-12 partners with the Anderson Township Park District to streamline our registration process. KBA began in 1957.
Based on feedback that we have received, people have been requesting an easier way to register on-line and pay via credit card. In addition, we have combined the waiver and payment in one transaction.
While the ATPD will handle all participant registrations, the Kiwanis (KBA) organization will still run and coordinate the leagues as they have done so for many decades. This partnership will strengthen the recreational basketball opportunities for the area middle school and high school age youth.
Any Questions? Please contact Anderson Hills Kiwanis.
